ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT
The Telecommunication Standardization Bureau (TSB) fulfills the objectives of the Union relating to telecommunication standardization, by providing secretariat support to groups studying technical, operating and tariff questions and facilitating the adoption of Recommendations in these areas with a view to standardizing telecommunications and information technology on a global basis. In order to achieve these objectives, the Telecommunication Standardization Bureau works in accordance with the instructions of the World Telecommunication Standardization Assemblies (WTSA), Telecommunication Standardization Study Groups and the Telecommunication Standardization Advisory Group. TSB, headed by an elected Director, provides the technical, administrative and logistic support for the assemblies and for the meetings of the groups mentioned.
Within the Telecommunication Standardization Bureau (TSB), the Strategic Engagement Department (SED) is responsible with leading the Bureau's community engagement, marketing, and communications efforts, including pioneering “emerging technologies” initiatives like the annual AI for Good Global Summit, and utilizing innovative tactics for membership recruitment and business development to establish ITU-T as an agile, forward-looking, and innovative standardization platform. The Department is also responsible for the Bureau's, academic initiatives and the ITU Journal, a periodical dedicated to research topics in telecommunication and ICT.
TERMS OF REFERENCE
The Audio/Visual Content Intern will assist the AI for Good team in producing engaging visual content that promotes our initiatives and events, including:
- Photography: Assist in capturing high-quality photographs at events, documenting important moments and highlights that complement video coverage.
- Video Production: Assist in filming, editing, and producing video materials that highlight AI for Good activities, showcase innovative AI technologies, and cover events like the AI for Good Global Summit 2025 in Geneva, Switzerland.
- Content Development: Support the creation of creative video concepts and scripts that align with communication strategies and enhance AI for Good’s digital presence. This includes promotional videos, highlight reels, interviews, and short-form content for social media.
- Editing and Post-Production: Use video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, iMovie, Lumen5, Canva, or other relevant software to edit and finalize video content, ensuring high quality and brand consistency.
- Digital Strategy Support: Collaborate with the communication team to develop content strategies that increase engagement across various digital platforms. Assist in optimizing video content for platforms such as social media, websites, and newsletters.
- Administrative and Logistical Support: Provide support in organizing shoots, coordinating with speakers and team members, and managing files and archives.
COMPETENCIES
- Experience with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, iMovie, Lumen5, or other relevant software.

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED
Education: Currently pursuing or has recently completed studies in photography, communication, journalism, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
Experience: No working experience required.
Language: English at advanced level. Knowledge of another UN language, with French is an asset.
