Learning and development

Developing staff skills and competencies is an important part of the ITU’s overall business strategy.

Learning is a key component of the ITU HR Strategy : it includes any developmental opportunity the organization can offer to acquire and enhance knowledge and abilities through experience and exposure beyond a simple course or programme (Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development, CIPD).

The Human Resources Planning and Development Service manages the design and implementation of a range of different learning opportunities, including specialized technical trainings, management and leadership programmes, coaching and Language Programmes.
