ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT
The Telecommunication Standardization Bureau (TSB) fulfills the objectives of the Union relating to telecommunication standardization, by providing secretariat support to groups studying technical, operating and tariff questions and facilitating the adoption of Recommendations in these areas with a view to standardizing telecommunications and information technology on a global basis. In order to achieve these objectives, the Telecommunication Standardization Bureau works in accordance with the instructions of the World Telecommunication Standardization Assemblies (WTSA), Telecommunication Standardization Study Groups and the Telecommunication Standardization Advisory Group. TSB, headed by an elected Director, provides the technical, administrative and logistic support for the assemblies and for the meetings of the groups mentioned.
Within the Telecommunication Standardization Bureau (TSB), the Strategic Engagement Department (SED) is responsible with leading the Bureau's community engagement, marketing, and communications efforts, including pioneering “emerging technologies” initiatives like the annual AI for Good Global Summit, and utilizing innovative tactics for membership recruitment and business development to establish ITU-T as an agile, forward-looking, and innovative standardization platform. The Department is also responsible for the Bureau's, academic initiatives and the ITU Journal, a periodical dedicated to research topics in telecommunication and ICT.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
TSB’s Strategic Engagement Department (SED) is seeking a consultant to contribute to the creation and organization of high-impact content from the AI for Good Global Summit 2026. This includes developing compelling narratives, videos, and visuals to highlight the event’s achievements, strengthen sponsor visibility, and drive continued engagement, while ensuring all assets are efficiently managed and aligned with strategic goals.
TERMS OF REFERENCE
Under the guidance of the Senior Business Development and Operations Officer in TSB’s Strategic Engagement Department (SED), the consultant will:
- Support the post-production efforts following the AI for Good Global Summit 2026, including featured projects like the AI Skills Coalition, and the Robotics for Good Youth Challenge, by crafting compelling narratives and visuals to showcase the event's impact.
- Conceptualize and produce engaging post-event video content that highlights the value of the summit, key moments, and the contributions of participants, sponsors, and partners.
- Design visually appealing graphics, infographics, and other digital assets to support ongoing campaigns, event recaps, and promotional content.
- Process and refine on-site photo and video content captured during the event, including footage from sponsor booths, exhibitions, and key activities, to create polished deliverables for various platforms.
- Develop bespoke short promotional videos and other media assets for sponsors, exhibitors, and partners, highlighting their contributions and showcasing their involvement in the summit.
- Assist in the organization of content assets (photo, video, graphics) post-event, ensuring proper storage, detailed labelling, and efficient accessibility on shared/cloud platforms for future use.
- Collaborate with the communications team to finalize and distribute interviews, testimonials, and other key content captured during the event, ensuring alignment with the summit’s messaging.
- Create high-quality highlight reels and recap videos that encapsulate the event’s key themes, achievements, and outcomes, driving continued engagement and interest.
CONCRETE DELIVERABLES
- Sponsor and Partner Video Assets – 20-30 bespoke videos.
- Graphic and Digital Asset Set – 50 visuals.
- Organized Digital Asset Archive – 1 structured deliverable.
COMPETENCIES
- Strong skills in video editing, colour correction, sound editing, motion graphics, and final delivery.
- Ability to create professional graphics, infographics, promotional assets, and branded digital content.
- Ability to transform event footage, interviews, and key moments into clear and compelling narratives.
- Ability to organise, label, store, and retrieve large volumes of photo, video, and graphic files efficiently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Education:
University degree in communications, marketing, video production, business administration or a related field OR education from a reputed college of advanced education, with a diploma of equivalent standard to that of a university degree in one of the fields above. An advanced degree would be an advantage.
Experience:
At least six (6) months experience in conceptualizing, organizing, and executing sales and marketing audiovisual productions and digital assets.
Experience producing video marketing materials and campaigns.
Experience with software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, etc.
Languages:
Knowledge of English at advanced level.
REMUNERATION INFORMATION
Between USD 145 to USD 260 per working day to be defined according to the work experience of the consultant.
